When facing down the Girl Scout cookies...

...the trick is to have a plan. So what I've taken these irresistible morsels and divided them into individual snack packets:
...and popped them into the freezer. I'll take a packet on any ride I do that is over 15 miles, to be used for re-fueling. Et voila! Incentive, fitness nutrition, and discipline all wrapped up in a single, tasty, 150 calorie treat.

  1. What a plan! Of course a significant portion of them would have never made it into the packet at my house.

Faced with my own dilemma right now: a few dozen chocolate chip oatmeal cookies fresh from the oven.

  2. That's a great idea. Because I just bought three boxes this morning and said goodbye to all my fitness goals I've been working so hard on!

  3. And maybe when you're on your bike you can play this tune for further incentive:

I'd apologize for the ear worm, but these things are best shared.

  4. Aren't you good? I once ate a whole sleeve of Thin Mints on the way home. It was a hundred years none of those calories counted.

  5. That's a great idea! I haven't bought any this year....I'm too weak to have them tempting me!
