Radio Silence

It seems I've picked up the flu bug, and have taken to bed for a few days. Since it is difficult to ride a bike when lying prone on one's back, it is safe to assume that I won't be posting any progress on the bike challenge for a few days. I have a report on finishing up the hoop house and sowing some seeds, but that will have to wait, too, since even writing this short report is going to cause me to have to take a bit of a lie-down.

I'll be back in a few days, though, full of spark and vim.

  1. I recommend a good book, soft tissues (my nose turns red with the cheap, scratchy ones), and a hot beverage. And a nap if you can sneak one in. I recently recovered from the flu and it's always a humbling reminder of how little control I really have over anything;)

  2. Good advice Christine. I've got the nap part covered--I think I slept about 12 hours yesterday.

  3. rest, fluids, good movies, books, and yes soft tissues...I also recommend binoculars for birdwatching from a couch or chair...feel better soon

  4. Sorry to hear this. I was starting to worry about you. Beware, flu can last a while at our age. Best to take it easy for a while and only do stuff you enjoy. Hope you feel batter soon. All the best!

  5. Hope you feel like yourself very very soon. We had that here too. It was a bummer.~~Dee
