I'm looking for my manual for graceful living.
I think I set it down somewhere over here...
Good? That's the whole review? It looks a little narrow for my wide saddle.
Helen---Yep. Falls into the 'nuff said category. What kid of bike do you ride? If it is a road bike, you wouldn't want the saddle to be too wide. But if you are sitting more upright, then you're right, this would be to narrow.
Susan, I'm more the Upright Rider kinda gal. I even prefer coaster brakes (!), which my Raleigh 3-speed touring bike has. So, yes, I sit wide in the saddle.
Then I think this is not the saddle for you! I love those coaster brakes, BTW. Sadly, none of my bikes have them right now. Maybe someday I'll turn my Salsa into a coaster brake gal...
This made me laugh. One of our clinical correlates we had to learn for our last unit had to do with bike saddles (PS a lot of anything we learn about is usually demonstrated to us with bike examples). Their width being the star of the show. Turns out there's damn good reason to be picky about them.
Eileen--You'd better believe there's a reason. Oh my.
I'll tell my husband. He's the cyclist & racer here.
MMD--Tell your husband that I got it on the recommendation of a male triathlete, so it's not just for women.
