This is where I buy my wood. It's inconvenient, since it's clear on the other side of town for me (Ok, admittedly in LBB that means a twenty minute drive, but still). But the selection of wood is very good, and the guys are helpful and courteous:
They'll even cut the pieces to length so they'll fit in my car, and they do it without a peep:
But most of all, I appreciate them because never once, in all the years I've been buying my wood there, have I sensed even a speck of "Lady, where's your husband?"
They've always treated me matter-of-factly, as if it were the most natural thing in the world for a woman to be buying wood.
Which is as it should be.
