Across the neighbor's fence this morning

I think Nancy deserves a big ol' homemade apple pie this weekend for hosting such a lovely show of color for her neighbors...

  1. Inspiring photos. I love Virginia Creeper in Autumn. It does put on a lovely show. Thanks for taking us along.~~Dee

  2. I love it, too, Dee. I hack away at it all summer--pulling it down from windows and eaves, but leaving it on the walls, just for this special week of show in the fall. It's all worth it, IMHO.

  3. Yes she does. Looks like Virginia Creeper and quite a happy stand of it.

  4. Our neighbors have a very old Virginia Creeper vine but they cut it back drastically last year, I keep meaning to go by and see if it survived. Your featured one is a real stunner!

  5. It's a very nice thing to do. There have been times when I certainly thought the same for someone who had larbored log and hard.
